Housed in a historic building registered by Taipei City Government, a few steps away from Dihua Street, OrigInn Space is a place full of nostalgic atmosphere, old story, 60s - 70s Nordic furniture and music. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property.

The room is cozy, staffs are friendly and there is a cute cat! It is a walkable distance to Beimen MRT station. There are bus stops nearby as well, but some buses are not very frequent.

O’Pann the manager is a pure bliss- very professional host, cool as a cucumber. He is very concerned about my meals that he’ll stiff every dish and ensure it’s of good quality. Not complaining but he might be slightly too clingy- murmurs outside my room until I let him crawl in my bed. And insists me to rub his belly. Other human staffs are very nice too. Great room and experience in overall!

A gem in the city.

A warm welcome in this great boutique hotel. The location in a historical district of Taipei known for tea and dry goods. Comfortable bedding and plenty of space. Feeling of being in a home.

The street gets busy and animated early morning, this can wake you up early, but then again that’s why you stay in this area. A light breakfast option would be a nice addition.

Perfect base for exploration of historic Taipei.

The location is perfect to get immersed into one of the more historic quarters of Taipei. Dihua street is 3 minutes by foot, Ningxia night market is about 5-10 minutes by foot. Ximending can be reached in 10 minutes by foot. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the space itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. 24/7 stores are closeby, so if you need something to drink at night, it is also no problem. Also the area is very well connected to the bus system, so getting around is no prolem at all. I especially recommend just walking north from the hotel until you reach the confucius temple (~45 min.) to get a perfect view of iconic Taipei.

Wonderful

The location was absolutely perfect, there’s many things to do around and it’s walking distance from the mrt ! The place is cozy and very clean. Amanda at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart, she gave us great advice on things to do and helped us out with restaurant reservations. It really felt like staying with a friend :)

The only thing for us was that the room, albeit very nice and spacious, did not have a window. It wasn’t obvious from the photos and the description did not mention it.

Gorgeous house, fantastic location

Very beautiful building, great decoration, fantastic hosts (including the cat <3), nice big and cosy room with super high ceiling, I wish my home looked as good as that :) Less than 10 mins walk from Taipei central, and close to a cute neighborhood with lots of little shops and food options.

We were surprised that there was no window in the room (thankfully the high ceiling gave a nice impression of open space), and the room was quite noisy (we could hear our neighbors a little too well ^^)

It was purrfect!

Thank you for the super stay at Originn! It was such a lovely way to end our trip staying in this space, we skipped going out for the night just to return home early to enjoy the space. The aesthetics was on point, things used including the record player in the room made it so nice to sit on the couch and chill. It was a bonus to have Opan, the friendly cat who visited our room and slept with us. Though he came meowing at 6am, we were just thrilled to have him over. Location is so good with Dadaocheng and all the beautiful cafes right at the door step. There is so much to do and so much to see. We look forward to returning in future when we visit Taipei (:

Please take note that apartment has no lift, as with all old apartments in Taipei. But that too adds to the charm living in here. (:

stylish, good location, but no sleep.

stylish, with character. nice rooms, nice tea in the room, comfortable bath

it was Christmas morning and somehow there was construction noise at 7am. the walls are also quite thin. if you’re a light sleeper, and prioritise sleep, this is not the place for you
